Communal work in Viljandi’s cemetery

img { height: auto; max-width: 97% !imrpotant; vertical-align: middle;} We had a communal work day at the end of September in Viljandi's cemetery. People who love Israel came together all over Estonia and we were 26 people in total. In the communal work day, we planned to change 110meters of wire fence and put new fence-posts. We were able to change half of it. We cleaned the graves from moss and weeds. And colored the grave fences, raked the leaves. The old splinters on graves were changed for new white granite. At the gateway...

And Israeli postcards as well on which we wrote that the God of Israel loves you and is expecting you in your homeland Israel. January 2018. Ten days in Ukraine

Snow Each trip is unique and adventurous. The latest is especially adventurous. There was opposition and attacks, but also God's special favor and grace. At the end of January, we were on a 10-day trip to Ukraine with fellow believer Aleksei Salumaa. We visited the city of Kiev and Uman. Upon reaching Uman, it began to snow slightly, and the next morning there was 50 cm of snow. Such an abundance of snow was a big surprise for the region since they had not seen so much beautiful snow in a very long time. Studded tires are not mandatory in Ukraine, therefore all...

International Holocaust Remembrance Day in Pärnu and Viljandi: remember and bless

Every year on January 27 we celebrate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. During the Second World War, six million Jews were destroyed as a result of the cold-blooded and planned activities of the Nazis. The killing of the Jews also affected Estonia, where 2,000 Jews were executed. This year we remembered the dead in the Jewish cemetery of Viljandi and Pärnu, where we lit memorial candles. In Pärnu we were with the local Jews at the memorial stone built for Jewish children at the cemetery. After the memorial service, we went to the cafe with Jewish pensioners, where we served them the best possible food and...

Wonderful trip in Ukraine. June 2017

I am once again back from a 10-day trip to Ukraine. Three other people accompanied me on this trip, Sander Kukk from Tallinn, Svetlana and Toivo from Kuhi Riisipere. The purpose of this trip was to go to the Jews of the city of Uman and to help them out with our own hands. To not only talk to them, but to also physically help them and to demonstrate the love of God through our works. I have visited the Jews in Ukraine for 5 years and before going on this trip I thought, that there was nothing that could surprise me,...

CLOTHING FOR ISRAELI FIRE VICTIMS

In October we began to collect clothes in order to send them to the Jewish community that resides in Berdicheva Ukraine. After a short while it became clear that no shipping organization was willing to deliver the humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The reason behind this is due to the fact that dealing with humanitarian aid is big business in Ukraine and whether your aid manages to get over the border or not, that is decided on the border by the customs broker. The cargo may either be let through, arrested or even confiscated. Therefore the sending of clothes to Ukraine...
